A Fall Sunday

We had a relaxing Sunday--ok maybe not unless you think taking Maya to CHOA immediate care for 2 hours and finding out she has strep throat is relaxing...But anyway she is on the road to recovery hopefully soon. The EAGLES won-yeah :) And we went to a mini pumpkin patch to find a jack-o-lantern pumpkin. Very quick and simple-for Maya's sake.
And Jim and Hannah made chicken noodle soup for dinner! They did a great job. Hannah refused her nap today so we ended the night with a bang and Hannah saying over and over "I just can't stop crying mommy" and off to sleep she went
Good Night!
Pumpkin Playdough Day!

Yes-maya is eating it!
I have always loved the smell of pumpkin pie, pumpkin bread, pumpkin ANYTHING so we decided to dive into pumpkin pie play dough ( http://pepperpaints.com/2008/10/17/pumpkin-pie-play-dough/ ) this weekend. On Saturday we had a lazy morning followed by soccer pictures which went very well. Hannah did well with the pictures and played about ten minutes of the soccer game and then I looked over and she was sitting on the blanket with her shoes, socks, and shin guards off--I guess she was done. Oh well...So after nap we moved onto the play dough. We had to cook the play dough which made Jim very nervous with me around the stove cooking play dough but it all worked out great and the play dough smells good enough to eat even though we can not! This fall weather, the smells, and the sounds of football make me miss everyone... :(

Rainy Day in Atlanta...

Happy Friday!
It is a cold and rainy day in Georgia--but hope to see the sun tomorrow. It is soccer pictures...enough said about that :)
The fireplace guy is coming to cap the gas pipe tonight and we may try a Duraflame and hopefully not catch any squirrels on fire since the chimney will not be swept until next Saturday!
Maya made vegetable soup at school today and I was told she helped shucked the peas and loved the soup. Hannah played with Miriam today because Bailey was sick--that is all I got from Hannah :)!
Lucy and Charlie are enjoying muddy paw prints all over the house and sofa but oh well --I will just clean tomorrow.
Jen enjoyed her first neighborhood book swap last night --Any one hear of Water for Elephants? That was the one I picked up!
Have a great Friday night! Love you
