Santa comes to Georgia first...

Hannah wrote a letter to Santa asking if he would come early to Georgia and go to Pennsylvania as well. She mailed it to Santa and the next day she received a note from Santa (written on wrapping paper which I could no longer use because what if she made the connection!!!) The following morning Santa came and Hannah said she did hear reindeer and she thinks Santa is so nice for coming early...What a great age for Christmas time!
A baby set from santa (AKA Mammie and Grampy)

Nothing like getting Tinkerbell undies!!

Maya is just happy...Christmas is just another happy day to Maya--don't you wish we could feel like that around this time of year... Maya loved her new keyboard and drums and just touching all of Hannah's things that Hannah did not want her to touch!

One of Hannah's favorite presents (besides anything baby)! Our own little rocker...who knows

The Grinch Story Time

Hannah eventually warmed up and gave The Grinch a hug but it was oh so silly at first...
And she just wanted to see Max...but no Max this time

The Tree...

How much do you think Jim loved getting his photo taken in the Lowe's parking lot??
Like we were at the tree farm... :)

Run Run As Fast As You Can...

Making Gingerbread houses with Lisa, Kira, Marli, Maya, Mommy, and Grandpa!
Eat one, put one on, eat one, put one on...

Maya lasted about 2 seconds because she kept getting mad at me because she wanted to eat the gingerbread instead of letting me build with it first so....

she stepped out with Grandpa and ate some chocolate frozen yogurt!!

Better Late Than Never...

Here are a few pictures from Daddy's birthday weekend minus the pictures of Daddy...Do not ask me how that happened but Happy Birthday! We had a great weekend!

Hannah and I went to see Goodnight Moon at the Alliance Theater-just the 2 of us! Hannah loved it!

We walked up the street (I love where we live!) to the Waldorf School for their Holiday fair! The girls painted gourd ornaments-Maya painted her ornament all by herself! Yeah Maya! Hannah made a gourd birdhouse which will probably turn into a gourd squirrel house because we live in squirrel hell...They actually take my pumpkins off the porch and eat them! ok-enough about the squirrels... They enjoyed face painting and the Crystal Cookie Cave! Fun Fun

The girls jumping on the bed and LOVING it--this was all dad!

Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday Mommy!

I got a great home made party hat and had a great birthday weekend (ok maybe week)!

I was lucky to be able to celebrate this birthday with lots of family this year! We had a great time with everyone!

Goodbye to Soccer...For Now

It was Hannah's last day of soccer today. It was a great fall day and they celebrated the soccer season with pizza and medals. Hannah did a good job on her last day (well... better than the past Saturdays...)

Maya's Day at School

Maya was teaching her friends about how to listen to vibrations on the metal balance beam...
"This morning, Maya knee walked over to the metal balance beam, put her ear on top of it and started tapping on it to listen to the hollow drumming sound. A minute later some of the students in Ms Paden's prek class came over to see what she was doing and joined her in listening to the sounds they could make. What a great example of inclusion at work!"

Our First Halloween on Avery...

It was our first Halloween in our new house and
it was CRAZY! I have never seen so many trick or treaters! This was exactly what we have been looking for in a neighborhood. We brought our fire pit out front and just hung out on Trick or Treat night!
The weekend started with carving jack-o-lanterns...

Kira and Marli came over to go trick or treating in our new
neighborhood...We needed to get fueled up for our big night out!

Some scenes from the night...

On Saturday we were tired out...
Hannah spent soccer sitting in her stroller with a blanket on but then perked up when we went to the Fall Festival at the girls' school. Mammie and Grampy are visiting so we relaxed with them over the weekend! Hope everyone had a great Halloween weekend!
To see some great photos and videos go to Lisa's page http://kiramarli.blogspot.com/ (here is an example of what you will find...)

A Fall Sunday

We had a relaxing Sunday--ok maybe not unless you think taking Maya to CHOA immediate care for 2 hours and finding out she has strep throat is relaxing...But anyway she is on the road to recovery hopefully soon. The EAGLES won-yeah :) And we went to a mini pumpkin patch to find a jack-o-lantern pumpkin. Very quick and simple-for Maya's sake.

And Jim and Hannah made chicken noodle soup for dinner! They did a great job. Hannah refused her nap today so we ended the night with a bang and Hannah saying over and over "I just can't stop crying mommy" and off to sleep she went

Good Night!
